Thank you for visiting our website,www.Irishoakpersonalisedgifts.ie The following are the Terms and Conditions for the use of this website and the purchase of products from Irish oak and rope.ie, trading as Irish oak personalised gift .Use of this website constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Making a purchase

Why do I need to register my details on your site?
If you buy something on this site, when you enter your billing and address details you will be asked for a user name and password. Returning customers simply need to log in with their username and password and all their details would be pre-filled at the checkout. Alternatively you could manually enter the necessary details again. When registering your details on our site you are giving your consent for us to send you occasional newsletters and offers. If you wish to opt out of our mailing list please advise us when registering your details on our site. When you subscribe we will not bombard you with marketing messages, nor will we share your information with any other parties. You are free to unsubscribe from our email list at any time by clicking the appropriate link in our email.

When you place an order to purchase a product from irish oak personalised gifts, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we process and package your order in our shop. That acceptance (and contractual obligaiton) will be complete at the time we send your items via our courier or Anpostl. Should any items from the order be unavailable, you will be made aware prior to the order being processed, either by email or telephone call. Items which we have not dispatched do not form part of that contract.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure that prices are correct we reserve the right to cancel any orders which are placed for items which are incorrectly priced on our website.  In these cases we will contact you prior to dispatch to see whether you want to cancel or not.

Payment

We accept secure payment online with Worldpay & sage Pay payment portal by Visa debit,visa credit, MasterCard credit, MasterCard debit , Visa Electron Maestro, JCB, and PAYPAL. You may also pay 'offline' via Cheque, Bank Draft, Postal Order or Bank Transfer. Goods will only be dispatched once payment has been received in full. All products remain the property of Irishoakpersonalisedgifts.ie  until payment is received in full.

A credit account may be opened by corporate clients, subject to trade references and application approval, on the strict condition that payment is made within 30 days from date of invoice. Please contact us for more information.

Photographs

We have made all reasonable efforts to ensure each photograph accurately reflects the product being sold. On occasions, there may be minor differences between the product's appearance in the photograph and the item delivered due to manufacturing changes beyond our control.

Unavailable Products

If an item is out of stock, the sender will be notified as soon as possible and will have the option of 1) awaiting stock availability, 2) selecting an alternative gift or 3) being given a full refund.

Shipping

Your order is processed by Irish oak personalised gifts the moment it is received. Prices of individual items typically do not include delivery charges except where indicated. We employ third-party courier services to deliver your gifts. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 20 days.

For orders being shipped outside the Republic of Ireland or United Kingdom Irish oak personalised gifts cannot be held responsible for importation taxes/duty charges.

All address information must be accurate including the postcode where appropriate and the recipient's telephone number. Irish oak personalised gifts cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if the recipient's address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. The goods shall be deemed to have been delivered when the courier obtains receipt of the goods confirmation from any person at that address.

It is the customer's duty to ensure that someone will be home to sign for the gift, which will be delivered by third party couriers. Where the courier is unable to find a person to accept delivery, a calling card will be left for the recipient to contact the courier and arrange to pick-up from the local depot or agree an alternative delivery time or alternative location at the discretion of the courier. If the recipient fails to make contact in good time, the goods are returned to Irish oak personalised gifts and an Irishoakpersonalisedgifts.ie charge will be made for re-delivery to the original or an alternative address.


Returns & Refunds 

REFUNDS POLICY

When you return goods to us because you have cancelled the contract between us during the cooling-off period we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation. We will refund the price of the goods in full, including the cost of sending the item to you. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us and a small refund fee no greater than 3% (representing the refund fee) of the total cost.

If you are not satisfied with a product for any reason e.g. if it is not what you ordered, it is damaged or defective, or we have delivered an incorrect quantity, please return the product to us. Once we have confirmed the product defect or other problem, we will: - provide a full refund for any goods that are damaged or defective, if this is within a reasonable time following the sale; or - at your option, repair or replace the goods at our cost (including the cost of postage), unless this would not be possible or would be disproportionately costly in the circumstances, in which case we will refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question. We will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund for defective goods. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.


Shipping and returns policy

Our full Returns Policy is in accordance with The European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 97/7/EC). These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Law.

These conditions, and all acts of Irish oak personalised gifts, its Directors and Employees, shall be governed and construed in every way in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Ireland.

Dispute resolution
If, for any reason, you are not happy with our service and we cannot resolve issues between us, you can choose to settle the dispute out-of-court through an Alternative Dispute Resolution or Online Dispute Resolution (ADR / ODR) procedure.

Resolving disputes through ADR/ODR, in general, is easier, faster and less expensive than resolving disputes before a court.
